BOYDGIRL is a Toronto-based clothing label focused on handmade crochet pieces.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER:

My name is Artemiz, and I am the designer behind BOYDGIRL. I am a Fashion Business Industry graduate with experience in marketing, wardrobe styling, and design.

BOYDGIRL was inspired by my late grandmother, Clara Boyd, whose love for sewing and knitting left a lasting impression on me. I remember being fascinated by her creativity and the care she put into every piece she made for our family. Those memories continue to inspire the heart behind every collection I create today. I believe she would have loved these designs as much as I do, and I hope they bring the same joy to all of you as I begin sharing my work with the world.

Each piece is thoughtfully designed and carefully knitted or crocheted by hand. Because of this, all items are made-to-order, allowing me to stay true to the values of slow fashion while being mindful of the environment.
